For me the saddest anime ive ever watched would be a an anime called Maquia Awhen the promise flower blooms....that sh!t was something else....but i never cried 
as a matter of fact ive never cried when watching an anime in y entire life...its something i pride myself in actually

For me personally, I consider Anohana to be the saddest. Especially, "We found you, Menma!" scene with Secret Base playing in the background.  :stingerhalp:

Anohana is the only anime that made me tear up. Last few episodes crushed me.
